My seat is cracking badly as posted last year. So I am looking for a replacement with fold up arm rests and better bolster support. After pulling my seat and looking it appear to have a special hole where the safety switch goes, and some of the replacements I have looked at do not.

Has anyone replaced theirs, and if so what brand/model did you get that fits?

I am in the same boat. My seat is on it's last season.

I found one at TSC that may bolt up, but it does not have the provision for the seat sensor in the base. Does anyone have a work around to keep the sensor working on such a seat, or am I stuck buying another Bobcat seat. Kioti does not have the seat sensor on theirs so folks know.

My other choice is to disable the sensor (fool it that I am always in the seat)

I replaced the seat on my LS tractor with a suspension seat from Seatwarehouse. It wasn't set up for a seat safety switch, but hooking up the existing switch wouldn't have been difficult. In my case I could have removed the existing switch and attached it to the new seat hardware. Just would have had to drill hole through new seat mounting platform to fish the switch through.

I just had a good look at the Bobcat parts catalog. They have updated it with better picture viewing. There were two seats available a Standard and Deluxe suspension model. I have the deluxe model with the seat safety switch mounted into the seat base and not on the frame. I am attaching pictures.

However the standard seat appears to have a different switch mounted to the seat frame, and not the seat that might work on the typical replacements I am finding. Could someone please post a few pictures of the standard seat safety switch set up. I am hoping that by changing out the switch I can install an aftermarket seat.

Thanks for the help folks

If it were me, I would use this seat, disable the seat switch and be happy and comfortable. I have the Mahindra version of this seat on both of my Mahindra tractors. Stock on the big tractor and requested addition on the smaller tractor. I have never gotten tired of sitting in those seats.:thumbsup:

Ain't pretty and doesn't stand up to UV really well so doesn't work well for tractors that live outdoors, but SHOE-GOO is awesome stuff to seal the cracks in a seat up. It stays flexible for a long time and slows down how fast they fall apart.

Has anyone contacted bobcat or kioti to see what their offerings are

I think I am going to buy a universal seat and see if I can get it to fit.

Please let us know. I just added more good duct tape yesterday.

shoegoo is much better. Once it sets up there is no sticky residue and it holds up really well unless you leave it in the sun all the time with no butt in the seat to cover it.

Crack is too big unfortunately.

If you sew it first and then cover it with shoe goo, you will have better luck.

I may have found a seat. It is sold by several suppliers including rural king.
google- KM 125 unipro-blk or KM 125 unipro-grey. Give it a look and let me know what you think. the price is under $150 shipping and everything.

Looks like it should work. The hole for the safety switch looks correct, but you can order with the switch installed and arm rests are an option. Only question I have is mounting holes. Have you checked your existing hole placement and compared to the diagram https://www.turfseats.com/Drawings/KM125UPDWG.pdf

The other thing to check is width to fit the existing base and seat belt location.

Great job finding this.

If you get it, please let us know how it fits.

Put new seat on today. I ended up going with the K&M 129 Uni-Pro instead. it has the same bolt pattern(bolts not included, uses four 5/16 by 1" bolts) but has a higher back. it cost just a few dollars more. I ordered it from Rural king For about $115 shipped. It was a little bit lighter grey and had a bit more texture than the stock seat. The seat has a plastic back instead of metal like the stock one. It is a bit softer and slightly more contoured. It was not a perfect fit as only 2 or the 4 mounting holes lined up. I had to enlarge the other two holes with a drill press and a 3/8 " bit. It was super easy. I thought I could switch my operator p. switch but after a bit of work, I gave up and just jumped the contacts with some copper wire and some electrical tape. They offer a custom switch for this seat as an added cost option. Overall I am pleased with the seat and happy with the quality.
