Replacing a gear in my transmission.

I have a Farmtrac FT300DTC. I need to replace a gear in the gear box. My question is:

Where do I split the tractor in half at, between the motor and trans, or between transmission and gear box? Also where can I find a service manual for this tractor? Thanks.

Did you ever get your trans apart?. I have to do the same with mine. I just put it back together from a clutch install that didnt fix it. The shuttle shift( forward/reverse lever would not move anymore to place it in gear.. Thanks.
