Had to replace a hydraulic hose that is attached to my grapple and stretches back to my rear remote. Should I be concerned about air pockets or just hook it up and go?

Just hook it up and go..it will take a few operations to get the air worked out, but not long.

Hook it up, cycle all the hydraulics through their entire ranges of motion a half dozen times, check the fluid, go to work.

I think I would have a replacement hose made up and replace when needed.
