After re-reading my post above I decided that it might be deemed disrespectful to the consumers out there that I make my living from.
What I meant in more detail is that if "we" would clean our airfilters every time we mow (yes everytime) and change "our" oil twice per season, and keep the debris cleaned out of "our" decks and engine compartments "we" would get a lot more use from "our" equipment. If everyone did this it would make a phenominal differance in the longevity of engine and machine.
Also only buying equipment with grease fittings and heavy blades that can be sharpened regularly would be a huge cost saver.
