Replacing the water pump bearings on Yanmar YM2000

/ Replacing the water pump bearings on Yanmar YM2000 #11
Hi I am new to the forum and not really know English, I come from Polish and need help in dismantling YM2000 Yanmar water pumps.
Some time ago bearings in the pump started beeping and I want to mention them, just do not know how?
Maybe someone undressed and will share how to dismantle?
Do I need to use the puller and the gunboats from the fan?
Thanks for any help:)

There is not much to it. You will need a gear puller and maybe a "C" clip tool. Remove everything from the front of the shaft and push the shaft out the back. Bushings are probably held in by "C" clips. You just need to be a little bit mechanically inclined.

Hot or> heat burner and then download it to the front wheel.
,, normde2001 "whether the front wheel does not have any collateral?

This sounds like a job for MJPeterson:).
I agree. I don't think Babelfish (internet translator) is going to be sufficient for this!

Guys, I think we need to use only very simple Basic English that will pass through an online, automated translator and come out the other side making sense in Polish. Otherwise this will just be a thread about language, instead of helping him with the water pump.

I think the question is: "Do you need to heat the fan hub to get it off the shaft?" Also, "is there anything holding the hub on ("collateral") that needs to be removed first?". Piotrbpm, did I understand that correctly?

What he is wondering is if the impeller is installed hot. That is that it is heated and then pressed into position. I will try to help him. Does the service manual cover rebuilding the water pump? Probably not just replacing it right? I will see if I can get a parts manual for him. I do not have time to get a service manual.

norm; I have not had one of these pumps apart, so do not even have a clue without a picture. What do you mean by "back" and "front"? Front as in the fan/radiator side? Back as in impeller/block side?

No need to heat anything, some have a circle clip, some don't. A new pump W/gasket is a little over $ 100, if this is your first time, you stand a real good chance of busting the housing. If he buys a bearing & shaft, impeller, seal, and gasket it may not be worth it.

I would assume the fan end to be the front.

Like I thought Norm, just checking, because the pic on Hoye's site indicates that the bearing and shaft come out the front.

I am posting the pic so that everybody will be on the same page. I now know more than I did, from what norm said and looking at the pic.

It's a similar job to this . The wheel puller will probably press the shaft out, rather than a shop press, and you can't separate the impeller from the shaft without first pushing the shaft out, so . . . no need.
