Thanks in advance.

Instructions out of I &T manual: To remove water pump, drain cooling system, remove fan belt, disconnect coolant hoses from pump and unbolt radiator shroud. Unbolt water pump from housing, then withdraw pump and radiator shroud.

What models of Yanmar used thermo-siphon cooling? I know the YM135/155/165 did. But did any of the larger size two cylinder models cool that way?

The 1700 conv. was the first for me but there is Several now over the Decades.
Fredricks show WP-4201 169,180,186,187,220,226,250,276,1301,1401.1502,1510,1601,1602,1610,1702,1720,220.2202,22202301,2310,2402,2420
They have a 1700 Kit also WPC-1700

Is there a copy of that manual on line? (Over at the yanmar owners' place?) I am working on this is very small time slots (and am very slow :) due to other constraints.) Do I have to remove the radiator? (Still cutting away one of the radiator hoses.)

Thanks.

Should not have to remove radiator per manual.
