replacing worn disks

I am refurbishing the jd kba disk I picked up. I took it apart and noticed the 3 inner disks ( front and rear gangs ) are severely worn.

1. do i have to replace all the disks or can I just replace the worn down ones?

2. is this wear from a miss alignment, or normal wear? thanks

That's normal wear.
It's best to do all of them.

KEN IS THERE AN ADVANTAGE IF I MADE THE REAR BLADES NOTCHED, OR SHOULD I KEEP THEM SMOOTH.

IF I MADE THE BLADES 16" INSTEAD OR 18"?

AND IS 3.5MM THICKNESS GOOD ENOUGH OR SHOULD I ORDER 4.5MM. LASTLEY DO YOU HAVE HANGERS AND SCRAPER BLADES?

If you have rocks, go with thicker bladee. Notched is more agressive, however, they dont last as long as smooth. Most like notched on the front and smooth on the back.
There are 4 different casting #'s for the hangers for the scrappers. Let us know the casting # you need and Qty and we will see what we can find. We have a very few scrapper blades. Ken Sweet

i would think they would fit thats only a few mm per axle, your nut wont screw on as for i would think, but thats it.

I went back and counted 7 blades per gang. If you go with blades that are 1 MM thicker than what is on there, you will use up about a extra 1/4 inch of your threads on the axle. No big deal. Ken Sweet

ok went with 20" 4.5mm, they fit and man are they big, I have enough thread for a slotted nut, have to drill the holes and install the cotter pins, almost finished with the refurb. thanks for the help.
