OK, my Kubota RTVx900 did not come with a hydro tilt bed. A kit is $1000 and has manual controls. I am thinking about purchasing this

To replace this

I think I have this correct. My sytem in the RTV is only 5GPM at 3000 PSI.

Any insight or guidance at this juncture would be appreciated for sure.

Does your RTV have any other hydraulic functions or does the $1000 include the DC motor, pump, valve, reservoir as an assembly? Reason for asking is that I believe some of the RTV's use a DC power unit for the bed tilt.

Also electric valve would have no feathering they are just on or off.

And the electric valve doesn't have a float. So when you lower the bed, the full force of the cylinder is applied in the down position. This puts a lot of stress on the whole assembly because at that shallow angle the cylinder is trying to pull against the bed hinges.

I thought this electric valve did have a float...

SOmeone has suggested looking into electric lifts. Will do that on monday.
