I've never had the need of a real tractor until my wife and I purchased a little lake cottage. I began landscaping and my ideas have exceeded my garden tractor's capabilities. After many discussions many would call whinning, my wife has agreed to the purchase of a real tractor. I came across this website and hopefully will find answers to my many questions before making the purchase.

info that would help others help you better.

general location. state for example. helps know type of temperatures, rain, rock, rough idea of type of soil, snow amount, and like info.

list of projects that you want to do / need to do?

how many acres?

is your land hilly? flat? woods?

staying with 2 tractors, one for cutting grass other for everything else? or compromise for 1 tractor?

rock / gravel driveway? if so approx length?
