Welcome to TBN, been in way more prisons than I ever wanted; got out four years ago.

When I first started to work for a company near Atlanta, GA, doing gas leakage surveys, one of the first assignments they gave me was in Virginia and my boss had a name, but didn't know what kind of place it was; said he thought it might be a prison and if I was afraid to work in a prison, he'd send someone else.

I told that wouldn't bother me; that I'd been in a few prisons. You should have seen the look on his face before he remembered what kind of work I'd done in the past.

But as it turned out the place was not a prison anyway.

Thanx for the welcome!!!
Re. working in a prison. I was hired to work in the Women's prison here in Mich. Yeah I know, I heard it all!!Tell ya what, you had to walk on eggs around those ladies!! I covered the Camps & 3 men's prisons

Overall tho it was a good deal, only 5 miles from my house,no standby, Call-ins were rare. money was OK.and it was my last job, hired at the young age of 57!
I know I'm gonna love this site!! got a great tip from one of the troops already and put me on the path to resolving this problem!! Come on Spring!!!

Again thanks for the welcome!!!!!

I kept running around the pod making tractor noises until they let me go for good.

You're a better man than I, you couldn't pay me enough money to get me inside one of those places again.

Welcome to TBN Williray. I too am a retired computer nerd in southern Ind. I had worked for NCR installing mainframes and mini's mostly. As you can see these threads can divert from their initial posting.

Welcome again.
