I reversed mine on my Kubota , they were made to reversed to make the wheel base a little wider. I can tell you the difference in the stability of the tractor is amasing. I checked with a couple of dealers before reversing the rears. Out of the three dealers I talked to all of them advised not trying to reverse the front rims they said the rims were not designed to be reversed and things would start breaking if I did.

Tractor manufacturers design the rims so that different track widths can be acheived. I have operator manuals that show the different track widths which can be achieved.

I trust you don't mean that you end up with the tread pattern back to front (if they're ag tyres), that can be avoided by swapping the wheels side to side.

thanks for all the help, they are ag tires so i think i will have to swap tires on the rims. it looks like i would gain at least 6 inches per side. i think i will see if my tires are "loaded " i assume you meant with calcium? is there a recommend amount ?
