Buying Advice Revised Kubota 'B' Models

I visited my local Kubota dealer this morning and noticed new Kubota 'B' models in his yard: B2320/B2620/B2920.

Dealer literature rack had a booklet on the new models, which is before me. According to booklet, each has a distinct Kubota engine: B2320=D1005, B2620=B1105, B2920=D1305

B2320 is listed on Kubota web site; no web site information yet on B2620/B2920.
It will be interesting to see how Tier IV emission standards are addressed on B2620 and especially B2920. Nothing about emission controls in the booklet before me.

Jeff the link just takes me to the same old B2320/narrow, B2301/2601, B2650/3350, and B3350SU.

Well that is odd because the B2320, B2620, and B2920 were replaced by the B2301/B2601 a few years ago. At the time I remember the 2920 (which I owned from 2011-2013) wasn't being continued because of the Tier IV rules, so they only came out with 2301/2601 models. The old B2320 was kept around in some markets because it offers a narrow version that is sought after for vineyards and other farms.

I dug up my old B brochure, which I kept. It has a 2009 date on it. The one linked on the website has a 2019 date. Maybe Kubota is selling off "new old stock" machines? Specs are identical between 2009 and 2019 brochures, in fact everything is the same except for lawyer's language and fine print in a couple places.

If anyone can come by a B2920, that was a great tractor. Way overpowered though, so it never had enough traction, but was great for running PTO implements. 2620 and 2920 had the same chassis and parts, just a different engine.

Jeff, did you actually see newly made 2620 and 2920 machines? If you only saw a 2320, then I think nothing has changed -- Kubota probably just keeps this old brochure around in the US because they still sell the 2320 model.

There were three xx20 machines in the yard.

I will stop by again later today and delve deeper into the situation with the owner.

The BH65 is the same as the one that was on my b2620.
