I know the B3350 has a diesel particulate filter but it doesn't look the B2650 has one. Not to deal with emissions would make that even better than it is. Nice tractor and equipped the right way.

How do you find the noise and hydro whine levels in the cab? I keep hearing horror stories about how loud these B's are in the cab.

I still keep debating whether I want to replace my open platform to a cab tractor.

I find the whine in the cab to not be that loud. I easily listen to the radio while operating.

OK thanks. Some people may just be more sensitive to noise. I'll have to go try one.

I've enjoyed straight piped big rigs all my life so I may not find it bad.

The HST whine doesn't bother me, just like mpham said in another reply, I can hear the radio just fine. All of that said, the HST sound is subjective in the cab. I would suggest driving one and seeing how it sounds to your ears. High range has a much louder pitch and is much more annoying but I am not in High very often. Most of my work is in Low because it is loader work. Also, under a heavy load the pitch changes too. So I would definitely suggest that you play with one for a while before purchasing.

Where we live the summers are brutal so I gladly handle the whine to keep me out of the blistering heat. We get about 6 weeks of "Winter". I am running my AC in February. The cab GREATLY improves my productivity.
