On Topic portion [sorta]:
MeanJean,
After reading about all the safety concerns you guys are having about the high-power high-caliber shooting you're using, I have to ask, could you guys would get nearly as much control and skills practice by shooting smaller, slower rounds at targets placed at proportionate distances?
Like 22LR's at 100 yards or whatever amount more you want to add?
There would be quite a bit less to worry about with both overshots and ricochets and given the relative energy of the rounds, it could still be made to be a very challenging endeavor...

Great looking dog. I lost mine not too long agoIt took me about 6 months to even think about getting another, finally my wife said you NEED a new dog. I really did not want one again, but got one anyway. He is a pound puppy and still a little small for doing much outside, too many coyote out for me to feel good about letting any dog outside. (my old one died of cancer)
Anyway here is Remington.....first his "mug shot"...with a face like that you know you are in for trouble.
