Hello,
New to this site so bear with me. I am wanting to buy a Massey Ferguson 40 - 90hp. I almost bought a 383 with loader but was outbidded. I thought it was a great tractor, '92 model 4wd w/ loader 1000hrs and kick myself for not offering more. I am leaning towards a 1643, 1648 or 1652. Whats the difference in these three? I drove a Massey 40B back in 1980 and really liked it. I guess what I am saying are these new tractors worth the money and are holding up? I still like those Perkins engines and was wondering are these Japanese made engines performing or has anybody had any issues. What about the tranny? 12x12 shuttle or dyna qps or 8x8.
