Had a tenant that called to get help to change his tank, LOL.
Problem was he used vice grips and the nut was all chewed up.

Red, Right, Ring, Ridge.

Telephone description for various configurations of the "Ring" of the telephonic pair of "Tip" and "Ring"

of the two wires, black and red, ring is the red one, it is on the right on a terminal block, it is the ring on a 1/4 inch phone plug and on a flat drop wire it is the side with the ridge that you can even feel in the dark to maintain polarity. So just remember red, right, ring, ridge, and you will alway know what the polarity of the pair is.

"shoot all A's real fast"

This is all you have to do to absolutely win any IPSC/USPSA shooting match. Just make sure all of your shots land in the "A" zone, and do it real fast, and you will absolutely win. I always tried to keep that in mind when I went to matches. Of course it didn't really help much.:confused3:

Sorry, it was how the old dinosaurs communicated "back in the day". Not to worry, everything is radio now. (except of course how all of those cell towers are fed). Most of those are now fed with the wonderful world of light. :) Some low volume ones are probably still fed with copper T1's.

Never could remember that one. I always used Roy G Biv (red orange yellow green blue indigo violet)(I think my high school radio club faculty advisor told us that one). I know it misses some of the colors, but gets most of 'em.

Roy G Biv is for the colours of the rainbow...red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

Red is never right

I use it for remembering red is never on the right (starboard) side of boats or airplanes
