thanks guys -
reason I got a compact was that I pull logs from my woods. Since I cut selectivly I need a smaller tractor to get around. But I would like to improve my traction somewhat, so if you have any suggestions I'd appreciate it.
thanks

Wheel weights, tire chains, front weights, better tires. Those are some suggestions. JC

My guess is that the 4 holes inthe center are for mounting weights, and the 4 tabs around the edge are for flippin the rim, and changine sides.. to make it wider.. check to see wher ethe rim is mounted to the center.. if there are 4 tabs that look similar.. you have your answer.

thanks Soundguy ... I understand you on flipping the tires to make it wider for stability. But what would that have to do with the tabs?
Thanks

Some tractors have a rim center that can be unbolted. The rim center is then flipped over and/or wheel is flipped to create different combinations of back set. That said, I don't think you tractor would utilize them for changing the backset.

Try adding liquid and/or iron weights to your tires. The weight will make a big difference.
