I find it strange that Bush Sr. could have sired a Cartoon Character.

He is one of the last generation of Presidents who worked their way to the top - military service, business experience, senator, ambassador, head of CIA, Vice President and President. Now we get community organizer to President or millionaire to President. More and more Americans are voting as a popularity contest, and pretty soon we will end up with a Hollywood star or Rapper for President. Lord help us! We have forgotten the requirements for President - service, experience, leadership, courage, honor, integrity to name a few.

He did many good things prior to be coming politician. It was funny on news, half of the comments were how much better person he was verses trump. They are very few politician I respect. Most are local in small offices

You should try to get your news from a more worthy source...you're much more likely to hear factual truths and less biased demonizing rhetoric...

Funny how people are so reluctant to speak ill of the dead.

I can't think of a single politician who "deserves respect". And if in some ways, they mess it up in others. Our Late Toronto Mayor Rob Ford Comes to mind.

I worked 30 years at our local newspaper. We'd get comments about how liberal we were and how conservative we were all the time. We just reported the facts in our news stories.

The problems with readers come when people read opinion pieces and editorials and confuse them as news reports. They are not the same thing.

Do yourself a favor and read the news reports and form you own opinions based on facts, not other peoples' opinions.

We have to be cautious when comparing bloodline generations.

Might be someone making the same comment about us.
