I suppose you could make an argument for grabbing a root on the in stroke and then on the out stroke, but really, it just looks uber cool. Its handy for grabbing smaller roots and yanking them out.
Looks wicked. Don't forget the side bracing.
took an idea from the bxpanded company for my bigger backhoe. 3/4 inch plate cut with a plasma cutter on an angle to achieve a pretty sharp edge. Finished it with a grinder and stuffed it in my wood boiler to get it hot then dunked it in oil. I beat it to DEATH trying to break it. No luck, didn't even bend. Very pleased with the results.
How would a 6-8" backhoe bucket work as a trencher and stump root ripper?
