A girl that I lived with in the late 80's told me that her father drove an interstate Bus when she was growing up. (the 60's) She said that he always took a tarp with him an if he came upon a fresh road kill deer he would wrap it in the tarp, put it in the luggage hold and bring it home.
I knew him, he was resourceful!
