Just got back from the local Kubota dealer and they suggest a 5 x 12 single axle rated for 2200 load and 2990 gross for $1800.
I would love to see a picture of a BX with BH on a 14ft tandem. I borrowed a 12ft single axle to get my tractor to the dealer and back but I had to remove the BH and the FEL hung over the front. I went slow and wasn't comfortable but it worked just for the short trip. I have a tight turn around and I doubt the 16ft tandem will fit. 14ft tandem will be a squeeze but I sure like the idea of being able to haul the tractor with rear implement on with a tandem and surge brakes. I had that tandem and surge for my 22ft boat and that worked great over mountain passes, etc.Definitely don't get a single axle trailer, as you have nearly zero tolerance to adjust tongue weight (it will be what it will be, whether or not it's safe or your tow vehicle can handle it). I'd get a tandem axle landscape trailer, probably 16', though 14' would be plenty long for a BX and some implements.
don't know your location but around here that is way high for that size and home depot is not he place to buy a trailer Check with Hammer Down Trailers in Newberry Fl. they ship all over and build a good trailer Dexter axles check them out by phone or on the web.Just got back from the local Kubota dealer and they suggest a 5 x 12 single axle rated for 2200 load and 2990 gross for $1800. Don't ever think will need to get more attachments as we don't get into farming/gardening(big garden). Looking mainly for around the house projects landscaping and interior house upgrades next year along with digging Mom's house out during heavy snows. Local home depot has them and will check it out
