Well done! I would trust that weld job easily. 👍

Regarding the Euro hooks, I think you'll be very very happy with those and wonder why you didn't get those sooner.

I have nothing but great things to say about these. No fussing around, it just works.
Thanks mate.

Well I've only had the tractor 12 months so didn't wait too long ;)

My previous tractor lived outside with the BB on all the time, so it was never an issue. They really do make it so much easier though.

Did you have any problems with the balls moving when you go to hook up? If so, how did you get around it?

For the cost, they are a huge upgrade if you need to swap or remove implements often.

As long as I don't bump the balls when reversing into the implement, I don't usually have any issues.

I do have telescopic stabilizers, so the arms hold position pretty good and won't move around.

I just back up to the implement till the hooks are under the balls, then lift it to latch the hooks. Occasionally, I do have to kick one of the arms to fully latch as I'm hooking the top link but it's fairly rare.

Nothing worse than bumping your balls when reversing o_O

I can see having a relatively flat area that you store your implements would also help. I just drop mine wherever and I know that doesn't help.

I can also see the arms helping. I would upgrade to them if it was more of a nuisance or I was putting more hours in the seat. Maybe I will spoil her in a year or two.

Just make sure your implements don't interfere/ put pressure on the tips of the hooks. My box blade contacted the hooks when the scarifiers were down and ended up doing this to them.

Second time I used them, still need to get around to repairing them.
Luckily I had my stock ends to switch back on.

That's no good. I'm trying to imagine how that happened. I will rotate my BB around and check out the clearance but from memory its not close.

That repair will test out your welds, it looks like its right where the load sits.

My box blade has a mount that pivots to drop the scarifiers down, the 3pt lower arm mounts are on that bar.

I'm not worried about the repair holding, it's a fairly simple structural repair.

I would like to see a picture that shows how-why that happened.
