I think several of the major manufactures made the 2-way, or as some call them hillside plows in one unit, and improvement over single bottom L&R bottoms which worked independently of each other.
I have 2, 1 bottom plows hillside plows that are single point Fast Hitch for my 130 & 140 Farmalls. I also have a single 18" bottom 2 point Fast Hitch plow for my Super C's. This one has the auto-flip feature.
I use them both to plow my garden, as it lays on somewhat of a slope. I always throw the dirt uphill every year, Mother Nature seems to do a decent job of washing some of it back down the hill every year. Being it's just a garden and not a larger area I mostly use the manual flip because it takes 20 minutes to install the auto flip mechanism on the Super C. The one(s)for the 130/140 are pretty much plug & play.
Several years ago I did see some John Deere 1, 2 & 3 bottom hydraulic roll over plows at the Classic Green Reunion in Columbus, OH. These were mounted on 20 & 30 series tractors from the 50's. Model number was 825, apparently you just added more bottoms if wanted/needed.
Here's a couple pics of mine for my Farmalls which won't do the OP any good but may give others an idea what to look for if they'd be interested in looking for one. I do love mine..!! Also have ashort video of the uto-Flip plow on the Super C after getting it working.
