That was a thought but the flashing is there and does not seem to be compromised in any way.

If I were to guess, the gutter guard is overwhelmed in a decent downpour and water is finding it's way behind/on the fascia with some of it showing up at the bottom of the fascia and some that is carried down back towards the wall on top of the soffit and eventually running out of the J and down the face of the wall.
All of the rain on that whole side goes to that gutter with a slight concentration on each side of the dormer. It may not take that much rain with all of that roof.
Picture a concrete parking lot of the same square footage and the amount of water running across the downhill edge.
I'd pull the gutter guard and observe it during a good rain looking for dripping at the bottom of the fascia.
That gutter guard looks like nice material, but it appears to be only about 50% open. There are many types and maybe you need something more "open" or just clean out any leaves annually. It looks like an 8' step ladder would be enough to get you up there.
Edit; there's a stain on the bottom of the gutter, that helps my conclusion.

That was a thought that my brother and I had on the leaf guard. I removed the left side first. Still leaked. Removed the rest yesterday and cleaned off all the staining to see what this next rain period shows.

In your leak4 pic. Maybe my eyes, but it looks like light is showing between the gutter and the fascia. If that gapping is happening along the length, that could be how you're getting water behind the fascia and into the soffit.

How did you inspect the flashing with the gutter in the way?

Edge flashing is a very, very, very common source for leaks. Usually it's because there is no edge flashing, but where it's there and all of a sudden there is a leak, it's always because the edge flashing was moved.

When I'm looking for a leak on a roof, I first fix all the obvious things. Usually, I'll find a nail sticking up, or a hole is some flashing, or even a damaged shingle. On metal roofs, a loose screw might be something obvious.

I fix those first, then I get out the hose and start running water over the roof. I put the nozzle at the top of roof or attach a sprinkler head and let the water run. Then I focus on that area to see if the leak is happening. Usually, I'll let it run for half an hour. Then I move the hose over and do it again, and again, until I've done the entire area.

I have thought about taking the gutter off for a better inspection. It is continuous and 40 feet long and a 5 or 6 inch gutter so I will need some help there before I can do that.

Water may be getting in where the shingle roof meets the metal lean-to or behind the gutter. Check the flashing and fascia for gaps or signs of moisture. Make sure the gutters are sloped correctly so water flows toward the downspouts, not back toward the house. Even with leaf guards, heavy rain can cause overflow behind the gutter if water can’t enter fast enough. Try spraying water on different roof sections with a hose to see where it begins leaking. The issue is most likely related to flashing or gutter alignment rather than the roof itself.
