Amen on paying a pro - we reserve the right to wade into uncharted waters in the name of Doing It Oursleves, and to illogically call a professional for something we'd rather not try. I've got nearly 8 hours in rebuilding a lawn mower that I could replace for $150, but I pay to have my oil changed.
