Due app. 10/12, we have confirmation they are built. Pricing is on our website. Both of these are heavier (it's not that they are structurally "heavier", but rather more metal was required for mounting, brackets, etc., so they weigh more) than most of the ROPS groups, thus shipping will cost us more and we have only tentative prices....though I don't expect to see the prices change more than $20-$30 if they change at all once we have final pricing information. However....to anyone willing to order & pay now we will guarantee the prices on our website, including shipping, and those will be first in line to be shipped.

Are those folding ROPS, and if so, do you have any height measurements (folded & unfolded)?

Thanks,
Noah

Will it fit the YM186D ? Would it be foldable?

Don't know-will inquire, and yes.

Thought I'd post a picture of my newly installed ROPS on my 1510D.

As I told Wayne, it only took me an hour, start to finish. Pretty simple, even for a non mechanic such as myself. I didn't remove the rear tires, although it would have been easier to torque down the front bolts.

Lawrence, could i talk you into posting more pics of your install..... especially with no implement on the back? I'm looking to see if that ROPS will bolt to my 186D.

Well, looks pretty nice. I have a question tho-- I expanded your pic, and the outside weld of the L bracket to the tubular bar only has about 5 welds, what appears to be one inch long, some inches or whatever apart. Is this OK? I looked at this and think that on my 169 with a solid bar, and welds all around the surface connections, this doesn't look nearly the same, as far as impact strength would be concerned. . . What kind of test was this exacted through? There are also torsional tests which I would think it went thru. Do you know?

In a forested region, with unforeseen rocks on a hill, I don't know if I'd use that ROPS. JIMO...

It's OSHA approved, it better be ok! It was tested on a 1510.

The ROPS for all models were put through and passed whatever tests are required to meet OSHA standard 1928.52, which is the applicable standard. They were designed by people with engineering degrees and built and certified by the same company that provided ROPS for the domestically sold Yanmars. If you wouldn't use that ROPS, what ROPS would you use? Where is there one on the market for these tractors that inspires greater confidence for you?
