Just a thought because someone mentioned using hydraulics. You could fasten a rope to the ROPS and attach it to the FEL when raised to upper limits and then use the FEL to pull up the ROPS. OR fasten a pulley and rope to the FEL bucket, raise it as high as it will go and use the rope and pulley to raise the ROPS while standing behind the tractor, then just pop in the pins.
