rotary cutter

OVERRUn is the first thing to get. Without one there are no brakes strong enought to stop a bushhog until the hog is ready. Think flywheel power. Running a rotery mower without overrun protection is very dangerous. I lwarned by being pushed through a vegie garden by the mower, It could have a bank barn house or anything else I could not stop and nothing would come out of gear.

Roxynoodle, you've had plenty of replies but I'll give you one more confirmation any ways /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif. I've got a YM1500D (15HP to the PTO) and use a 5' finish mower but only a 4' rough cut. That 4' is plenty of mower. Your tractor weighs less than mine too... I'd definitely go with the 4 footer.
