Has anyone had any experience with Everything Attachments - 3 Point Hitch Attachments, Tractor Attachments, Skid Steer Attachments

Reason I am asking I would like to get a rotary tiller to use with my 4720, and the website has nice videos and I chatted with the owner who was VERY nice and informative, as I am new to all this....I was looking at the Phoenix made by Sigma in Italy....Looks well made....My dealer I got the Deere from recommended a Kuhn, but the price was like $3800 for the 72". The Phoenix was $2400.00 with FREE Shipping....

I am looking at the JD 673 tiller and think it lists for about $3400 on the Deere site. I looked at the tillers you mentioned and they appear to be OK but what about parts and warranty?

Been kickn round the idea myself about a new tiller. The sigma tiller has features that I really like. Oversized removable torque tube, very handy when tines need replaced, 6 tines per flange insted of typical four of almost every tiller, heavy and adjustable tailgate, standard slip-clutch. Kioti brand tiller is, you guessed it a re-badged sigma. Far as warrantie is concerned, any dealer worth there salt should help you. Parts, sigma has been around for a while. I would be inclined to think not a big deal. My stumbln block on the tiller choice is I have a kick butt JD dealer right in town, but the sigma has got my attention

there are many good brands, I would steer clear of any online or trade magazine good deal tillers like the ones mentioned above. As for the Deeres, they are manufactured by Howard, very good stuff. And when checking specs, will find it to be at least 10% heavier than nearest competion. And parts support 10 and 20 years from now will be present. The others most likely not. So for me, clear choice is the 673 or 681 Deere tiller for a 4720 compact.

jerrry - I don't know anything about the sigma tiller; however, the drive line looks identical to the one on my King Kutter 5' tiller. I recommend doing your homework before you buy. Particularily look at the pro's & con's of chain versus gear drive. I'm very satisfied with my 5' KK tiller on my 3520 cab tractor; one of my dad's friends used the same tiller to create about 20 acres of pasture after brush-hogging thick alder brush. The slip clutch drive line is a must; my biggest problem has been with 4-6" rocks getting caught between the tines and the upper housing - it takes a long pry bar to get them out; the upper housing gets dented very fast. I paid $1500 for the 5' tiller last year; could have done better at a TSC or Fleet Farm but didn't feel like driving 200+ miles to pick one up.

I have no knowledge of the tiller, but I did buy a set of loader forks from Everything Attachments about a year ago. I would buy from them again without reservation. They were knowledable and very easy to deal with. Product was delivered quickly and is nicer than I had expected for the price. I have been using them for a about a year now and have loaded them to the max capacity of my 3520/300CX several times without issue.

I have heard good things about the KKII tillers from TSC. Their price seems to beat most others.

Tillers.. like most other equipment, comes in heavy duty flavors, medium duty flavors and light duty flavors.

Alot depends upon what kinds of uses the OP has in mind for his new tiller.

Turning alders into a pasture is hard duty for a tiller. Creating a garden patch from the far corner of the lawn is pretty easy duty.

The Phoenix Tillers by Sigma (made in Italy) have been around for a long time, and used as OEM tillers for many of the major players in the business. Bush Hog, Coyote, Montana just to name a few. Sorry, I do not have a complete list to share. We do stock both the T-5 series, and the T-10 series here at Everything Attachments.

As for parts, We have excellent replacement parts availability for the Sigma products that we stock wearable items here, and the main parts warehouse is in the Eastern part of NC where we can have the entire line of Sigma tiller parts drop shipped.

The last thing you have to worry about when buying a Sigma brand tiller is parts! We have sold a lot of them over the years, and they are ALMOST indestructable! You can learn a lot about them, and see a product demo here.

I had a Sitrex tiller, sold just a couple months ago and I think if it's not made by Sigma, then Sigma and Sitrex sub to the same company, very well built never any problems. If I ever decide to go back to a tiller I'll definately look at those brands.

You have just got to love a dealer that takes the time to come on these forums and educate us AND stand behind the products he sells. I don't know anything about this brand but I can say that based on the videos I've seen and the lack of complaints I would certainly give "Everything Attachments" and the "Phoenix" a try IF I didn't already know about my LandPride (Fantastic REVERSE Rotary Tiller by the way). Just my thoughts; I'm sure others will differ

I have a John Deere 450 and had a woods GT60 and both are great tillers. I don't know who made the JD, but the Woods was a Sicma (Italian) and it was well built and very easy to find parts for.

Used tillers are hard to come by around here also so I put the word out to a few of the local tractor dealers that I was looking. About two weeks later got a call from a JD dealer on the JD450. It spent about 4 hours at the dealer so it was easy money for him, he gave me a great price as he didn't have to do hardly anything. Don't know how the dealers are where you are but it's worth a shot!

I have the JD 673 and love it. The only flaw I see that it has is a manual adjustment on the chain tensioner. I also have a frontier 1157 that is adjustable for offset. That is also a very strong tiller and has an automatic chan tensioner.

I really do not know much about tillers. I have a Frontier RT1260. It is pretty heavy dutyy, medium actually I think, but I do not know how the duty ratings are set. It makes short work of tilling and the Imatch compatability is worth its weight in gold IMO. Probably should have bought teh King Cutter from farm and Fleet but this one sure is nice. The King Cutter was a lot cheaper. I paid $2K. Could have bought a lot of produce for $2K.

Hmm... good info. The Sitrex looks almost bolt-to-bolt the same to the Machio (Frontier). Both likely to outlast the 1st generation owner.

Who makes the new model JD tillers?

I have an older model JD 660. It's made in Germany and it's right around 650lbs (with pto shaft).

I seem to recall (could be wrong) that the JD branded tillers are more heavy duty than the Frontier models.

I bought the frontier, matched up well with the I match...and its green...
