How do we know for sure how old the tires are when we buy them to begin with?
Do they have a date of birth/manufacture on them?
Sorry, wasn't trying get your dander up. Yes, I did see that you put them out of the sun. My point is that no matter where tires are stored, they have a finite lifetime. When I buy tires, I check the code, which I see you have been given a link to, to determine how old the tire is when I buy it. I don't take anything that is more than a few months old. If you find a "new" tire on the shelf at your tire store with a date code that shows it to have been made three years ago, that's still three years out of its life expectancy, so is a three year old tire.
