If you are curious about the oil filters, cut them apart and see for yourself. You will find that Fram have about half of the media of other brands of filters. I know they say that the cardboard isn't effected by oil but media glued on cardboard just kind of bugs me. Even if you don't worry about that, I don't like how much media they are leaving out for filtering.
1/2...1/4...1/3...meaningless! Whats the ACTUAL filtering capability...micron level to total amount of "gunk" trapped?? Im most certainly NOT saying the very best filter on the market is made by Fram...no way. But if people stopped worrying about trying to get "20,000 miles" out of a $4 filter...hence CHANGED THEM periodically...it doesnt matter.
I dont run any Fram filters on my B3030...mainly because one of them isnt even made....AND..its far to easy to just order the whole package of Kubota filters from online. ( No real idea who MAKES Kubota filters ??)
I also dont run "Billy Roy Ray Bob's" BEST syn oil ( group 12 or whatever...lol) good for 5000 hours...because if I run my 3030 for another 50 years I wont have that many hours on it.
Far too many get "hyper" over items that in the realm of life...dont amount to diddle squat
