What is a good heavy duty 6 foot rototiller that can be towed behind an ag tractor?

Do you really want to tow it or are you referring to a 3pt style? Also may help to know how large of a tractor you are talking about as the tillers are HP rated so that is something you will want to look at.

Three pt is what I want. My tractor is a JD 5085m, which is 85 hp and 4wd.

Very happy with an Ansung YJR080 (80" wide) used on a M7040 Kubota.

I have had good service from my Deere 673 (72") tiller and I use one quite a lot in my work. I would go wide enough to cover your tracks and think the 681 tiller would be a better choice for your tractor. That said there are lots of people here who have good things to say about the King Kutter tillers and these are less money. Might want to check them out too.

I would second the Ansung. with your HP the YJR 080 would be a good fit. I have the YJR074 and am running i with a Bobcat CT 235. Great units and very well made. Used mine 3 year now with zero issues.

For NEW, I would be buying a Kuhn if I had your tractor... Get one sized with a gear box sized bigger than the pto hp of your tractor, and it should last a long long time!

For used, I have a REALLY GOOD Howard HR30, 80" wide, it's very HD and I'd make you a great deal on. It's ready to go and other than paint, it's in excellent shape!!

You'd have to ship it though...

I have a Kuhn 62-210 that is the best piece of equipment I've ever used. It can till up tall grass and weeds without getting stuff wrapped around the rotor. I have not a clue how they do that as all my other tillers have to have it mowed short or they wrap stuff on the rotor like a round baler.
