Rounded off drain plug

That’s different than what we’re describing. We’re talking about about sticking a hose to the bottom of the fluid in a sealed container and pressurizing the container. The fluid is pushed out the hose. It’s the same way a fire extinguisher or a pump up weed sprayer works.
Right, however, the the picture that bigtiller posted is setup so the hose hooks to the barb under the nozzle and liquid is sucked into the hose by the venturi effect, then blown out the nozzle.

I didn’t notice that barb the first time around. Sorry you’re right. And probably a better idea than pressuring the case.

Update on the drain plug?
I plan on changing the engine oil in my JD450 dozer next pretty weekend. And I need to do service on my LS. Because I leave my old ISEKI outside all the time, I have to drain a little water out of the bottom of the transmission every few months. With the rain that we have had there may be more. One winter there was enough water that it froze. Pump could not pick up the oil. No lift to move hay that day. I had to wait for warmer weather to drain and put out hay. I tried to keep it drained after that. We almost never have weather that cold. Does any of our northern boys have problems with water in the hyd. oil freezing?

I run into condensation problems on customer tractors once in a while. Not very often though. If you have shift levers that go through the top of the transmission the best thing to do is make sure they are in good shape. No cracks or tares in the rubber boots as that is where rain gets into the transmission.

Yep. Keep in from getting in and you wont have to drain it out...

Keep looking for update. I pulled my drain plugs without too much problems. No pipe wrench, just the right size socket.

If you tighten them too hard when you put them back in, you and Kando can have something in common.
