Rounded off drain plug

Before I rounded it off anymore I would take that crossmember off to get at it properly. Who knows for sure what will work though, as the OP seems to have tuned out long ago. The last time that he checked in he had been busy making hay while the sun shined.

oil DOES go bad, and can damage the engine if not changed, he won't be making hay if the engine quits..

It's the trans plug.

OP has said the plug was on the back burner because of other issues. Job, haying, probably kids and likely the incessant nagging of his wife to get that plug changed. My belief is that it will end well when a space opens and Kando decides that today is the day.

Your math is probably solid but the empirical evidence... never popped a breaker, even with the thing turned up all the way to burn holes and cut

To weld with automotive batteries,you need at least 2, and 3 in series is better. One 12 volt battery is not really enough.

Still on the back burner to do. In lieu of draining from the plug I've figured on using a pump to pull the trans oil out and just replace from there.
