Can you post a pic of your stripped axle?? I've never saw that before. Worries me. Especially if you are talking about the end that goes into the front diff....



I reinstalled the old axle because I did not want the machine just sitting up on jacks. The teeth inside of the differential were fine, but after reinstalling, the wheel no longer had any resistance, and the joint really just flops around. The new axle will be here Saturday so I will install the new axle then, and hopefully my problem is solved. The little c-clip that is on the end of the axle was pretty chewed up and pretty much gone. The last pic is how the axle came to rest after just moving the machine out of the garage.
