RTV 500 Rattle Sound

Mine too...I give up. Have service record indicating this, so I'll bring them a bucket of parts if something breaks.

Just ordered a poly form fitting rear windshield for this thing...The interior is filling with dust, couldn't take it anymore.

Gads is this stuff expensive for these things...Would have been cheaper to by a Corvette I'm thinking.


The wife told me to buy it, so it's OK I guess

I'm with you, brother...I'm going to look at the 09's and see if the problem is still there.

I'll snap some pictures, the window should be here next week.

Maybe the aftermarket will come up with doors, I'd have to change the roof and who knows what else to put the factory doors on this. The Kubota hard cab kit is around 3 grand...Ouch.

Well, recieved the rear windshield...It was a war to install. Supposed to fit between the clamp ribs in the roof..not!!!..The roof was centered. Had to remove the lights, loosen the roof clamps, ram everything to one side, even then, I had to fight it to fit...UGH!!!. To top it off, the vinyl loaded nuts were the wrong thread for the bolts supplied..UGH2...Had to fight lock washers on where I could...Wait until I talk to these people. This will probably crack due to the stress it's under. Your $25 rear windshield was a better idea and 10% of what I just got ripped off for...UGH3

No more add ons for this thing...I've had enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't we buy anything that's any good anymore?? Paid serious money for a piece of plexiglass, and it isn't what I would call quality by any definition. The directions, now that's another story..UGH4!!!

Darn dog chewed up my parking brake lever. Guess i am gonna have to replace it. Any Kubota mechanics know if that part is available and if its hard to replace. ie. is it a do it yourself job or do I need to take it in? Also my 500 still has that annoying rattle. No help from Kubota or recall from Kubota.

Got a new parking brake lever for $38 and 2 bolts gets it out and in. Im gonna kick my dog 38 times. Just kidding.

kubota is sending out a service truck next Thursday, I will let you know what they are going to do about fixing the rattle sound.
