In the lower left corner of this pic....that round plug comes out and the wiring will go right down through there

Looks like your method works but I would be a little concerned about chafing. I didn't understand which section of wire you were running, I thought you meant getting them through the tunnel and to the battery.

OK, that works! I have put the power wires in a 3/4 inch split flex wire conduit too, so that should prevent any chance of chafing (I think I would do that even if I ran them over to the 1 inch plug.) That plug just looked like it was too far out under the hood. Here is a pic of the finished routing.

Thanks for the help!

Nothing wrong with that install at all. Looks great. Thats where my wires go, except one on each side of that tube support right down behind the black plastic cladding.

Looks good. If it gives you problems down the road you can always move the wires later.

Now go get stuck so you can try out your new winch.

I installed mine on a receiver mount. I hane a 175 Andersen connect ay the battery and a pigtail on the winch with another 175 connect. I use a temp cable that reaches the front or the back. I don't use the winch on the RTV that much so it works great. I have my Honda wired front and back so I stick in a receiver and plug it in.
