Coobie has a nice setup with his HeliMod extensions, but for those that already have the Kubota rear view mirrors on their RTV-X1100C, here is a cheap solution to make them better.
My son hit one of our buildings getting too close while plowing and shattered the glass in one of the plastic heads. So I called my dealer to order a new one, but Kubota is out of stock and has 900 on order.
So I went to my local Traction Heavy Duty Parts to see if they had any Grote mirrors that would go on to my Kubota mirror arms without modification.
Not Grote that I wanted, but they had a set of their house brand 8.5 convex mirrors. They look kinda goofy but the increase in viewing area is phenomenal. And as a side effect of having to use the included brackets to bolt them on, they are now low enough that the tops of the doors does not block any of the mirror.
Really nice to plow with now as I can see down both sides of the machine, and a large area behind me.
