RTV w/ Ramsey wireless, its GREAT!

Update! I was using the winch to pull a stump. As I was feeding out the cable with the remote, it started doing the same thing. It would let out for two or three seconds, stop for a second and then continue again. The closer I was to the RTV, the less it seemed to happen. Maybe time to send a email to Ramsey.

Let us know what Ramsey says.

I don't think it is related to range since mine was doing it when I was right next to it, and it doesn't have a problem when pulling the cable in.

I sent an email to Ramsey on November 30th, concerning the "stuttering" problem with the winch. I also inquired about how to go about getting a new antenna as the one I now have may have to be removed due to great hood recall.
I received a phone call from Satish in customer service yesterday. Ramsey believes that the problem is in the antenna, so they are sending me a new one. I don't personally think that the antenna is the cause, but I will try the new one once it arrives and see what happens.

Thanks for the info. I just sent them an e-mail giving my issue and requesting response.

I would be surprised if it is the antenna since the issue doesn't occur when spooling the cable in.

Let me know what happens when you install the new one.
