RTV900 Wipers

This is a follow up to a post I did last Feb when I noted:

"Last year, when there was only one wiper kit available, it had the Kubota sales #V4215 and I assume everyone would put in on the driver's side.

This year they're offering two kits - one for the driver's side, #V4267, and one for the passenger's side, #V4215. So last year's driver's kit is now this year's passenger's kit. "

I recently found out that the main difference between the two kits is how they "park" when turned off. The driver's side kit parks on the left and the passenger's kit parks on the right.

I think Frank also noted that one was shorter than the other.

RTV900 posts have slowed to a tricke over the last few months - I guess the novelty has worn off.

I just got one and got barely 13hrs on it. I am impressed to say the least with what it can do and the loads it will haul. I built a stake rack that is 24" above what is there and that equates to a 1/2 face cord of wood. Mine is used mostly for work.

We still have not had a consistant stock of RTV's. We get 4-6 every month or two and can't keep them around.

i just bought the most basic model, last saturday: and the main thing i am impressed with is the smooth ride compared to my 20hp kubota tractor: after neck surgery a few years ago, my seat time on a tractor is not near as much fun as it was, and this RTV seems to make the ride a lot more bearable. i want to add a front bumper and the plastic roof as soon as i can, but not sure what else, if anything. the one thing kubota needs is a catchy name like the rest of the atv's:

Congrats on getting your RTV. It has replaced a lot of seat time on my tractor for several chores.

Many have found that tires may be near the top of the accessory list depending on what you got on yours as well as the ground conditions.

Depending on how you're using it, many also go for some type of windshield as well as a winch.

As for the name, that's the beauty... you get to make up your own. RTV = "Really Tough Vehicle" or whatever you want it to be. The name that stuck to mine is "KuBaby".

I was at my dealer today and they sold 12 RTV's to a construction company. They said that when they get a load in they are gone with in two weeks. They have been one of their best sellers. They also sell Gators and now the Arctic Cat Prowler. I love mine. I have put a ton of stuff on it and it has been a joy to have it. Good luck.

I now use mine for so many things it crazy. Today I spent about two hours pulling a 8' x 8' drag harrow over all my gravel roads. That amounts to about 3500' and it really does a great job leveling out all the ridges and small holes after I grade it with the tractor. The tractor does a good job putting the crown in the road and pulling the gravel to the middle but the drag harrow just dresses it up so fine.........
