We are looking forward to ours coming back on April 9. Already have the 25lb bag of sugar ready.

LOL, one year we were late in hanging the feeders and the little guys went from window to window to announce their arrival.
They flew up and down to get our attention and say HI!
Ours hang about 1 foot in front of 2 specific windows and the little guys remember exactly which 2 locations.

We have a feeder that sticks on the window with a suction cup. Every year when they come back they will hover around that window, and I know it is time to hang the feeder. They will be on it within a half hour. It is amazing how many people have never seen a hummingbird,as some of our guests seem shocked when they see them by our window. No robins yet. Been in the 20's at night 40's daytime.

Last year we put our hummingbird feeders up early and discovered that Downey woodpeckers will also feed out of hummingbird feeders. Even when suet is available.

Well B4 the Ruby throats arrive we have to see the geese overhead and so far not a goose.

But, a buddy feeds birds all winter and amazingly he has 3 families of DUCKS that have wintered here.
(and do we ever have a pile of snow)
