It's been many years... built that trailer in 1980 and owned for 25 years.
Maybe I was just lucky?
The ball was always shiney after a few miles down the road with a load... I know it was too heavy for me to lift without a tounge jack.
I kept the other dump trailer where I adapted manual pump to tip from a camper jack... takes quite a few pumps to get it done... no electricity required.
Reminds me of how a guy I knew jumped his dead battery in the truck... it was always dead because he didn't use it much and was too cheap to replace the battery...
He was cheap and only had one jumper cable and would position the other truck to have the bumpers touch... left a lot of marks on both bumpers so I guess he did it a lot...
