High Taxes Road was named by the developer to protest the huge increase in taxes that came with developing the land. It stayed that way for a number of years until someone with no imagination whatsoever re-named it 'Jane's Lane'.

Easy Street. I actually had friends living on Easy Street back in the 80's. Those were the days.

We have a "Harry Long" Rd. It intersects Monkeywrench rd. I wanted to name my road "Not your", my wife says no.

In Southern Oregon, if you go from Ashland to Lake of the Woods, you will travel on Dead Indian Memorial Highway.

We have one in the running for offensive names. We have a mountain here in Western Md. name "Negro Mountain". It's name was changed about 20 yrs ago from the even more offensive "N" word..
