Rural TV reception

We always had free tv with rabbit ears. After the digital switch we don't have any signal that we can watch, with or without converter box or digital tv. We don't watch TV anymore. No cable on road and don't want to pay for new antenna outside, or dish. I think I prefer the old analog!

During the analog to digital change, many broadcasters changed their RF broadcast space from VHF to UHF. Rabbit ears may no longer be appropriate since they are essentially a VHF antenna and your local broadcasters may now be UHF.

I had wondered about this...

Received 31 channels before the change and now close to 50 with the rabbit ears.

Many are the same station with several additional ones... like 20 and then 20.1 and 20.2

One thing I do miss is I could get the blacked out football games by pointing my antenna a certain direction... doesn't work anymore.
