Rox, there are more pictures, and I am waiting for a few pictures from the guest. They are back from their honeymoon and we are very busy but I will post some each day.

After the ring girl ring bearer, the bride starts her walk from under the arbor. Just as she starts her slow walk the rains return. Each step it rains a little harder but she keeps her stoic pace to her song "Je T'aime Mon Amour" a French German song (C. Jung & R. Claydrman).
Here is the WOW picture!

The wedding guest were issued colorful parasols before the wedding for the sun but they were used for the rain.

With an the umbrella to hold the ring bearer found herself one hand short and a real ring was dropped and rolled to the flower boys side which he picked up and gave to the Judge.

The rain made everything crisp and vivid but mostly importantly cool.

The German Texas Wedding was a spectacular memorable event and they have hundreds of pictures to take back to Germany.

Don,

Great pics and an awesome job!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing. It's really nice to see how you're enjoying retirement and entertaining friends and family. Not to mention putting on a truly unique and beautiful wedding.

I think a flower boy is just fine in my book. Why not?

Well, of course it is Rox. It's just that Don and Karen have done such a great job that I had to search really hard to find something to give him a hard time about. ;)

Don, I don't know what your plans are for that great walkway and patio, but you could probably rent that spot for many more weddings if you want to. That's a great setting and a beautiful addition to your yard.

The wedding looks very nice and I don't think the rain dampened anyone's spirits. NICE JOB!:) :)

Too cool Don.

Was that the Government or the Church wedding for them?

Otherwise read as "was the huge party with the stealing of the bride and the various wedding games after held or is that for back in Deutschland"?

I darn near ended up divorced after our church wedding :D

Sounds like a great time was had by all
