Rust getting bad all over my Kubota

/ Rust getting bad all over my Kubota #131
Wow.. my mistake.. My datsun was a '76, and rusted out by 82. I didn't have it Zeibarted, but from what I understand those anti-rust treatments were pretty much discredited over the years. Could have been just the luck of the draw. Could have been that I used to trailer my boat and park the truck at the ramps, sometimes for a weekend, don't know.

I definitely believe, though, that it's not the recycling of the steel, but in the type of alloys that are made, and the way they are primed and painted.

My ten year old Camry has no rust except where it has been dinged. I hear, though, that people are having rust problems with some Toyotas newer than that.

A tractor is not a car, however, and there is no concern about weight and mpg, and such - also normally tractors are expected to last much longer than cars, so it's even more inexcusable in the tractors, imho. Tractor bodies are not designed to crumple and absorb impact for the most part - again, making the rust inexcusable. Had been thinking of maybe trading in on a Kubota, craziness anyway, but now, wow.. wouldn't dream of it.

We have had/have several different brands and none seem to be better or worse than the others with the exception of the ones with a lot of plastic.
