rust

   / rust #21
I Live in Mass, plow and also pile with my NH fel. The truck is an 04 and gets periodic treatment with a product called RUS-FRE. It is a sprayable waxy coating that last for years available on amazon etc. The truck is like new. I have tried/tested many products on my plow and pins and (fluid film) they all wash off. Alec

A guy I know who does a lot of rust repair recommends this stuff. NH Oil About twice the cost of fluid film, but supposedly stands up better.

I use NH Oil Undercoating and Fluid Film. FF is a great lube too.

The tractor doesn't see much if any road salt, so I've only sprayed it once. My trucks get regular treatment.

One thing I have noticed is that if you prevent rust in some areas, other areas rust excessively. My last truck was relatively rust free due to liberal FF applications. All except for areas that I missed or didn't think would matter.

You can slow it down, but you can't stop it.
