We can shoot the hogs here legally at night with lights, but even then, it's easier said then done. There eye don't reflect light like other animals. They will to some degree, but it has to be just right, and even then, it doesn't last but a second.

I have the game camera on the feeder and there are about half a dozen eating at it every night. They vary there feeding times. Sometimes it's as early as 8pm, other times it's not until 4 am. I've had them feeding off and on for four hours, or just there five minutes.

They are much smarter than I am. hahaha There are also lots and lots of them, but it's just as hard to kill one animal that's smarter than I am as it is to kill dozens of them. Either I need to get smarter, or they need to get dumber. hahahaha

Eddie, I use a monocular night vision when I hunt hogs at night with my bow and the IR will light up their eyes just like any other critter, they can't see the IR light but can feel it just like a light in the eye.
I do use a weapons light mounted to a stabalizer on my bow with the pressure switch for a final pin up so they get lighted up for a second or two before arrow release.
