This ...hole is going to walk out of the woods with his hands up, into the arms of some news camera and we're going to have to babysit him for the rest of his natural days. Giving him food, shelter and the best medical care.

Something tells me if this man is caught alive and does spend the rest of his life in jail, his life won't be that comfortable until the day he passes away. It's the "little things" that can "add up" while in a cell, and I'm sure his won't be the "nicest" time while serving for the rest of his life.

One woman even commended him for when he shot State Trooper Brown that he only shot to wound him. She said that at least "Bucky" had enough respect for human life to only wound the trooper and not kill him. Now one officer is dead and the other is close to it.
What Robert didn't report is that these officers were shot in the back. I certainly hope the $220,000.00 reward is for "Dead or Alive"! What really gripes me are the people saying "he only shoots cops"!

My thoughts and prayers go out to the trooper's family and I pray for the safety of all the men and women involved in the hunt!

Wow! Do you really mean to suggest removing judge and jury from the process entirely?

He probably means that he would not like to see another case of a cold blooded murderous killer being coddled and profittered by the legal community at the taxpayers expense.

Of course, putting the cop killer up in the Ritz Carlton on the taxpayers dole while he first publishes his book and then sells the movie rights to Hollywood during his first trial is typical in liberal juristictions where capital punishment is frowned upon those found guilty of murder of a law enforcement officer.....

"The 6-foot-tall, 240-pound Phillips, who has threatened "suicide by cop" and once promised to "to splatter pig meat all over Chautauqua County," has left a trail of burglaries and car thefts across central and western New York and neighboring Pennsylvania. He is suspected of stealing 41 weapons from a local gun shop in late August."

Maybe the perp will kidnap a small child to top off his rampage......

Honestly, from talking to the troopers and a lot of the other officers involved in this, they do not care if someone shoots Bucky just as long as it is Bucky and not someone else who just looked like him. To be honest though, there is no punishment allowed in the USA for a guy like Bucky. Death is too quick and easy, jail just takes away all his worries (its not like he has anything to lose like the rest of us).

I don't care what happens to him just as long as no more people are hurt by this idiot and if I have a chance to end this entire thing I would do it as all Bucky is doing is waiting for a chance to hurt more people now.

First, I'm not taking up for this guy.

Second, Do you know for a fact he is guilty?

Third, Have you ever visited anyone in a penal institution? I have and it's far from the Ritz Carlton but I don't know that for a fact. I've never visited the Ritz.

Fourth, The last time I heard, someone found guilty of a crime can't profit from a book or movie deal of that crime.

Fifth, If found guilty there's no punishment bad enough.

Not sure how or what happened, but what's being listed in several posts as originally posted by LMTC is NOT my post. It's picking up the post of the person who was quoting my post as well.

That's good, neither is anyone else.

I don't know for a fact that he is innocent, but based on his acknowledgement that he wants to spread "pig" blood all over the county and have a cop kill him, he might not be innocent?

It's a shame if he cannot stay at the most posh accomodations available at the public's expense during his three or four year trial and appeals process. At least maybe his attorney's will make enough for a new Mercedes or ski trip to the Swiss Alps this fall.

Fourth, The last time I heard, someone found guilty of a crime can't profit from a book or movie deal of that crime.

Who knows if he's guilty or not? If he is guilty though, his sister can handle all the publication and film rights for him and keep the money in her accounts.....

Fifth, If found guilty there's no punishment bad enough.

His public defender will probably claim that he suffered profusely as a early toddler and that he was under the influence of drugs during the killings, so he must be innocent and set free.

Now that wouldn't surprise me at all.

Speaking of public defenders. Over the years I've noticed some of these high profile wackos end up with some pretty powerful lawyers. Definitely not in the public defender pool. How do they do that?
