I own a 4310 JD compact tractor. I love everything about it except it feels very tipsy. I get up on a slight slope and it feels like it is going over. Does anyone know what a safe angle to work at with this model or can give me directio of where to find this information. Also, is there some type angle gage that I can fix atop of the dash to see where I'm at?

That tractor should be good for ~15 degrees side slope IF the terrain is quite smooth and you're going very slow. If you have a loader, even 15 degrees may be too much.
The most important thing is to use good sense. If it feels unsafe...most likely it is unsafe!

If the rear tires aren't filled, get them filled! That's good ballast as close to the ground as you can go. The weight provides inertia to a side roll...won't prevent one, but filled tires will reduce the likelihood.

The Tiltmeter is a good addition. For one thing, those side slopes that intimidate you (as they did me when I had my first tractor) probably aren't as severe as you think they are. That's part of the learning curve.

However, even as you get more comfortable with your 4310's capabilities, never get complacent! That's when you'll get hurt...
